STOKE WINLESS RUN ENDS AT BLACKPOOL

Stoke City are back in the hunt for a place in the English Championship playoffs after their five-match winless run came to an end during the league encounter with their hosts, Blackpool. Veteran striker Steven Fletcher was the hero for Stoke City as he scored the only goal of the game to give his team a 1-0 win over the newly promoted team.
Martin O’Neill and his Stoke City players came into the Blackpool game with a run of five games without a win in all competitions. Four of those five games were in the Championship. (more…)
