MITROVIC MAKES TEAM OF THE MONTH

Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has been named on the Championship Team of the Month for August 2021. The Serbian international wasone of the 11 players who made the Team of the Month in the English Championship as revealed by Whoscored.
Mitrovic has been in very good form in the English Championship this season. He has four goals plus two assists in four league matches this season. Fulham are the leading goalscorers in the English Championship this season with 13 goals and Mitrovic has been directly involved in six goals.
Serbian striker Mitrovictook his tally to four goals with his strike in the convincing win over Stoke City on Saturday. Mitrovic scored the third and final goal of the game as Fulham beat Stoke City 3-0 at home. Stoke City were unbeaten in their first three games before the encounter against London team Fulham at the Craven Cottage.
The other players who made the Team of the Month are Fulham youngster Fabio Carvalho, West Brom striker Karlan Grant, Huddersfield Town forward Chris Willock, West Brom midfielder Alex Mowatt, Birmingham City wing back Maxime Colin and Huddersfield Town wing back Sorba Thomas.
Queens Park Rangers (QPR) defender Rob Dickie, West Brom star Dara O’Shea and Cardiff City player Aden Flint were the three centre backs who made the Team of the Month.
Barnsley shot stopper Bradley Collins was rewarded for a bright start to the new English Championship season with a place in goal as far as the Team of the Month is concerned. Collins was one of only two goalkeepers to save a penalty in the Championship this season. He has made 17 saves for Barnsley this season.
